I felt like i was sucking at art drawing tonight at the Baltimore Dr. Sketchy. But at the last pose  i was kinda happy.

The model Sable Sin Cyr was really awesome and sassy. She has a Shit-shund (dachshund-Shih tzu combo) which is funny cause im not a fan of the shitzu but i really like my guy  baxter

OMPH School Girl

So this guy Xav (who is an awesome illustrator) posted a new thread on school girls. Growing up in a Catholic school for eight years i had to contribute. I really like the 2-D hop scotch squares. I like that 2-d 3-d play. I did another variation with a different mouth and slightly different eyes maybe I’ll post it.

Lena Grove 3?

So i posted my other lena sketch, pin-up, moji whatever on the drawing board and kinda got called out on not drawing hands and feet. It was a half fair comment. So i updated with a new one but she looked too sad. Plus i saw some of the pics from the sketchy session and she wasnt wearing blue at all. Lame. So here is an update to an update to an update.

So I love the site OObject. And they have a series on flying helmets. I was inspired by the RFC uniforms and gear. Vintage, Steam punk always wanted to dabble in it.

Life Drawing at MICA

I went to the Baltimore Dr. Sketchy’s a few weeks ago and this week I went back to MICA for a life drawing session. Figure drawing kick i guess. Obsession du jour.

It was funny that I haven’t been back to MICA in years much less a life drawing class and the model turns out to be a guy I’ve drawn a million times (very lanky and a good model). Somethings never change I guess.
